If a project isn’t right for me, I usually know someone it’s right for. You pay nothing for the recommendation, and I don’t want anything for it.

What’s useful in a first email

• What should happen — one sentence about the goal is enough; we’ll iron out the technical details.
• What it connects to — existing systems, ERP, databases.
• When — whether it’s on fire or there’s time.

You don’t need a budget or a brief in your first email. Most good projects start with us talking on the phone.
